Hi Everybody, I managed to create my new site on SharePoint 2010 Beta 2

The old url http://home.kbworks.nl wil be terminated all requests will be redirected to www.kbworks.nl.

My new website is based on the masterpage of Randy Drisgill who also made a blogpost.

Arround a problem I had with scrolling bars in SharePoint.

The Design of my new website is made by an old colleague of mine Emine Bayraktar. She is really cool on designs at least

That is what I find of it. There may still be some CSS errors in the site please let me know if you find some of them.

Let's talk about some problems I encountered more on creating the 2010 site. I joined SPC09 in Vegas.

There was a session by Andrew Connell he spoke about migrating the database. For all your data as I did nothing

Spectacular I thought it would be a good idea it worked well but once I applied/migrated the database and I installed

Silverlight I could not create new lists anymore without Silverlight there is no problem.

Also I saw that the structure of the site collection is totally different in 2010. But it was a good begin.

My blog is built with the CKS:EBE I used the changeset 29521 and remade it to work with SharePoint 2010.

One of the issues I blogged about earlier concerning the HTTPModule.

After I was finished and noticed that only updating database did not work and it was not possible to import or

export the data of the lists on the blog.

I had to create a special app which can be downloaded on CodePlex http://cksebe2010migrator.codeplex.com/

This made use of a Webservice to 2007 and read all the lists and copied the items to 2010.
